Donald J. Dwyer

Donald Dwyer leads the Life Sciences Management Development practice, focusing on executive training and management development in the areas of marketing strategy, marketing research, forecasting and opportunity assessment. Mr. Dwyer has over 18 years of experience in the field of executive development with Life Sciences firms.

Prior to joining IIBD, Mr. Dwyer was the Practice Leader of IMS Health’s Learning Solutions and Change Management practice for Canada, USA and Latin America. In this role, Mr. Dwyer lead the commerical operations of IMS Health's executive development practice, which included seminars and change management tools in marketing management and sales management.

Mr. Dwyer was previously a senior consultant with the IMS Management Consulting team where for a period of over 3 years, he completed consulting assignments focused in the practice area of Opportunity Assessment and Forecasting. Mr. Dwyer’s therapeutic experience is broad, having worked in many different biotech and pharmaceutical markets, including oncology, CNS disorders, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease and various immunological disorders.

From 1997 to 2002, Mr. Dwyer was a senior consultant and course leader at the Rosenblatt-Klauber Group. Mr. Dwyer was responsible for consulting projects from proposal to delivery and he lead the instruction team for the System 100 marketing seminar.

In the first phase of his pharmaceutical career, 2000 to 2007, Mr. Dwyer worked for IMS as an account analyst, engagement manager and business consultant. He played an integral role in developing and implementing business decision support systems, providing clients with software solutions to complicated data analyses, and mining databases to support decision making.
